Barks on the Bricks Bringing The UltiMUTT Art Walk To Downtown Rogers

This month’s Art on the Bricks Art Walk is going to be doggone fun! Join Barks on the Bricks in Downtown Rogers for a vibrant celebration of pets and artistry this Thursday, May 9, from 4:30-7:30p.

  • Celebrating the Arts: Every second Thursday of the month, more than a dozen galleries, shops, and restaurants partner with area artists around a new theme to highlight the creative talent of community members and support the local creative economy in Downtown Rogers.

  • Paws on the Plaza: Explore a variety of pet-centric art and services at vendor booths along Frisco Plaza and in several surrounding businesses. Enjoy portrait artists, photographers, training demos, live dance performances, and more. Leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun!

Bentonville Bike Fest Gearing Up For Its Fourth Annual Cycling Celebration

Bentonville Bike Fest is back for its fourth year, bringing an action-packed four-day celebration for bicycle enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to Northwest Arkansas this Memorial Weekend, May 23-26.

  • The Epicenter of Cycling: Founded by multiple Trial Bike World Champion and an avid mountain biker Kenny Belaey, the Bentonville Bike Fest brings professional athletes and major bike brands together for a week of all things cycling. Last year’s festival saw record-breaking numbers, with 15,000+ visitors and 1,500+ racers from 48 States and 15 countries.

  • Let’s Roll Up: Don’t miss out on the fun! The schedule includes group rides, workshops, epic trial bike shows, meet-and-greets with mountain bike superstars, a vendor expo, freestyle dirt shows, a UCI C1 Trials and Nationals event, and so much more!

Experience The World-Class Artosphere Festival Orchestra’s Final Performances

Walton Arts Center has planned a mix of free and low-cost art, music, and nature experiences around Northwest Arkansas as part of its annual Artosphere: Arts & Nature Festival, including opportunities to witness the world-class Artosphere Festival Orchestra for its final performances.

  • International Excellence: The Artosphere Festival Orchestra is comprised of musicians from prestigious symphonies and ensembles across the globe led by the internationally acclaimed Maestro Corrado Rovaris. The 90-member orchestra will perform American Soundscapes at Walton Arts Center on Tuesday, May 14, at 7p.

  • Voices Raised: On Saturday, May 18, at 8p, the orchestra will take the stage again for Verdi’s Requiem, where musicians will be joined by 120 voices from the Tulsa Opera Chorus, members of the University of Arkansas's premier choral ensemble Schola Cantorum, and members of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas’s SoNA Singers.

Stonebreaker Hires Arkansas Native Tyler Rogers As Executive Chef

Specialized Real Estate Group’s Stonebreaker project on Markham Hill in Fayetteville recently announced the selection of Arkansas native Tyler Rogers as Executive Chef.

  • Written in Stone: The boutique hotel project, Stonebreaker, is the result of a complete restoration of the Pratt Place Inn & Barn on Markham Hill. The new hospitality destination will open in phases, with the restaurant set to open its doors by this August.

  • At The Helm: Tyler Rogers brings a distinguished culinary background, having honed his skills under acclaimed chefs like Thomas Keller and Grant Achatz and most recently serving as Executive Chef at Hail Fellow Well Met in Johnson. The restaurant at Stonebreaker will offer a seasonally-focused menu that celebrates Arkansas flavors.
