NWACC Board Approves $2.6M For Staff And Faculty Salary Increases

Over $2.6M of NWACC’s 2025 budget will be used to increase employees' wages after the Board of Trustees approved recommendations to increase salaries and update the baseline for full-time staff and faculty.

  • Competitive Pay: The initiative to increase wages began in 2022 when NWACC President Dr. Dennis C. Rittle held listening sessions with faculty. He said the most frequent request from employees was competitive compensation to help retain and attract top talent.

  • Pay Day: All full-time staff will receive a 3% cost-of-living adjustment, which will be applied to salaries after market baseline increases. All full-time faculty will receive a salary increase, and part-time staff and adjunct faculty will also see salary increases. NWACC employees are expected to see salary changes as early as July.
