Explore Cool Planes During A Community Day At Thaden Field
Thaden Field in Bentonville is teaming up with airplane manufacturer Textron Aviation to host a free Community Day at the fieldhouse this Saturday, Sep 14, from 11a-3p.
In The Clouds: Textron will showcase a variety of its airplane models alongside helicopters, fire & rescue vehicles, and other cool planes from the community.
At The Fieldhouse: Enjoy food trucks, vendor booths, bounce houses, and live music while getting an up-close look at some of the coolest aircraft in town and supporting local businesses at Thaden Field.

The Miracle League of Arkansas Hosts Burger Competition
Consider yourself a Grill Master? Put your skills to the test during the Miracle League Burger Competition at Shiloh Square and Turnbow Park next Saturday, Sep 21, at 11:30a.
A Home Run: Miracle League is a barrier-free baseball league that empowers children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities to join a team and play America’s favorite pastime.
Step Up To The Plate: Local chefs and self-proclaimed Grill Masters will face off to see who can flip the tastiest burger. The winner of the blind judging in each competition will win a Golden Ticket entry to the World Food Championships in Indianapolis on Nov 8-12. Enjoy live music, sample the competitors’ burgers, and vote for your favorites to win the People’s Choice Award.

Race Through The Woods During the Here’s Johnny 10K Trail Run

Run like Jack Torrance is chasing you through the woods during the 2nd Annual Here’s Johnny 10k trail run at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve in Bentonville on Saturday, Oct 5.
All Work, No Play: The Here's Johnny 10k will feature technical trails for those looking to take the next step in trail running. Racers will navigate the eerie woods of Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, starting in the misty valley and weaving through parts of the Here’s Johnny trail before returning to The Homestead.
A Shining Performance: All racers will receive a special-edition finisher medal and t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top overall runners and the top 3 in each age group. Costumes are highly encouraged and may just win you a prize!
