  • Railyard Live Jazz & Blues Block Party, presented by Music Moves, Brian Crowne, and the NWA Jazz Society, will bring two nights of live music to Downtown Rogers on Aug 4-5.

  • Writers Night at Pearl’s Books meets monthly, inviting local writers to meet fellow writers, share encouragement, and suggest resources they think could be helpful to local writers. Join this Tuesday, Aug 8.

  • Writing & Directing Workshop with Southern filmmaker Craig Brewer, maker of Hustle & Flow (2005) and The Poor & Hungry (2000), hosted by The Arkansas Cinema Society and the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts on Aug 11-12.

  • Anvil Fest is a two-day musical showcase at CACHE Studios, featuring free performances by artists from The Anvil Sessions, on Aug 18-19.

  • Nick Mancini Quartet Featuring John Daversa, presented by the NWA Jazz Society at Walton Arts Center on Aug 26.

Crystal Bridges Hosts Exciting Glow Party Along Art Trail

Deck yourself out with glow gear and head to Crystal Bridges for the Art Trail at Night: Glow Party, as the Art trail is transformed into an imaginative light garden including music, food, artmaking, and more this Friday, Aug 4, from 8-11p.

  • After Sunset: Experience a one-of-a-kind sunset view at Skyspace, then explore themed artmaking stations or live music performance areas along the Art Trail.

  • Night Owls: Pop-up concessions and a bar area will serve late-night snacks and beverages. The event is free, and no reservation is required!
