  • 🦷 Telling The Tooth: The Springdale Public Library will host a Community Health Fair, offering resources and health screenings for all ages, this Saturday, Mar 30, from 10a-3p. The Tooth Fairy will also be there for storytime at 10a.

  • 🐰 Chasing Rabbits: Help the Rift Valley Foundation raise money to support women and children of Kenya during the Adult Easter Egg Hunt on and around Dickson St. in Fayetteville on Saturday, Mar 30, from 5-9p.

Celebrate Our Global Community With Canopy NWA

Local nonprofit Canopy NWA will host a Community Appreciation Celebration, highlighting the multicultural wonder of our area, at The Barn at The Springs in Springdale on Saturday, Apr 20, from 2-5p.

  • Welcome Home: Canopy NWA is a refugee resettlement agency focused on forming communities where refugees are welcomed and equipped with all they need to build new lives. Since 2016, Canopy has welcomed over 650 refugees to Northwest Arkansas.

  • World Tour: Make new friends and connect with the community while you sample cuisine from around the world, enjoy artistic presentations from different cultures, and hear messages of appreciation from those who have been welcomed into the community.

Ritter Communications Expanding Fiber Internet Services In Benton County

Ritter Communications, a telecommunications service provider out of Jonesboro, recently announced plans to invest $5.4m to expand its internet service RightFiber across neighborhoods in Rogers and Lowell.

  • Fiber Optics: RightFiber offers reliable, high-speed internet up to 5 gigs through fiberoptic cables connected directly to homes. Ritter Communications launched its residential fiber services in 2021, expanding into Centerton in Sep 2023.

  • Digging Crews: Dates for the new expansion have not been shared, but those in construction areas will be notified by mailers and door tags when the project begins. More announcements are expected soon for an additional expansion in Northwest Arkansas.
