Groundwork NWA Undertakes Arkansas’s First 3D Printed Home Project In Rogers
In an effort to address housing affordability for the region’s workforce, Groundwork NWA has embarked on a 3D-printed housing project in Rogers — the first of its kind in Arkansas.
In Print: The project will be built at 920 S 1st Street on an acre of land sold to the NWA Council by the City of Rogers for $50,000, utilizing 3D-printed concrete technology to construct at least four 2-story duplexes ranging from 1,300-1,600 sq. ft.
Foundational: Intended to alleviate obstacles faced by various workers, such as teachers and healthcare workers, the units will be sold to community members earning below 80% of the area’s median income.
