The 64th Annual Poultry Festival Flocks To Rogers

The top poultry and egg industry leaders from around the country will gather for a weekend of networking and team building during the 64th Annual Poultry Festival at the Rogers Convention Center from Jun 21-22.

• Golden Yolk: Arkansas's robust poultry industry supports over 158,000 jobs and generates over $39b annually. In 2023, the Poultry Festival sold over 4,000 tickets, bringing $4.19m to the Rogers economy.

• Galactic Eggspedition: This year’s theme is Space Cowboy, and activities will include golf and fishing tournaments, trap shooting, women in poultry brunch, barbecue cooking competitions, and more before concluding with a concert by Chris Lane with special guests Danielle Bradbery and Mary Beth Byrd at the Walmart AMP.

Walton Arts Center will host the inaugural AMP Up the Arts, a new arts education benefit show, headlined by Nelly at the Walmart AMP on Thursday, Sep 12, at 8:30p.

Gran Fondo Hincapie Bringing Two-Day Cycling Event To Bentonville This September

Gran Fondo Hincapie is bringing its iconic multi-day cycling experience to Bentonville for the first time this fall, Sep 6-8.

• The Ultimate Cycling Experience: Hosted by American professional road cyclist and Olympian George Hincapie, the Gran Fondo (Italian for “big ride”) experience includes a timed race, scenic routes, sustained climbs, and two days of festivities for cycling enthusiasts of all skill levels.

• Hitting The Road: The weekend will kick off with a Celebrity Chef Dinner, sampling culinary creations from the country’s top chefs as riders mingle with one another and the Hincapie team. Cyclists can choose to ride on Saturday and/or Sunday, with each day offering 80, 50, or 15 mi options. Each day will conclude with a free Family Festival & Expo.

Summer Forest Concert Series At Crystal Bridges Cancelled For 2024

The Summer Forest Concert Series at Crystal Bridges has been canceled for 2024 due to continued debris cleanup in the museum’s North Forest.

• If A Tree Falls: Hundreds of trees were lost across the Crystal Bridges campus during the severe storms and tornados that affected Benton County on May 26. For now, access to the North Forest remains restricted while cleanup continues.

• New Growth: The museum remains optimistic, stating, “For every large tree lost, multiple tree saplings remain standing. Though devastating, this is a generational change in the forest, birthing a new landscape.”
