Sophomore Class at University of Arkansas Maintains Bragging Rights
If Fayetteville feels especially full again, that’s probably because The University of Arkansas had a record-breaking enrollment this fall, with 32,140 students — a 3.9% increase over last year.
Full House: The freshman class of 2023 totaled 6,344 students, making for the second-largest in school history behind last year’s record-setting 7,099. So the title stays with the sophomores.
Homegrown: Over the past five years, the University’s enrollment has grown by 15.7% overall. In-state student enrollment also reached a record high this year, increasing by 5.3% from last year's count of 15,479.
