Crisis Brewing Unveils Plans for Major Expansion in South Fayetteville

After years of dreaming and planning, Crisis Brewing is moving forward with a new 10,000-sqft brewery and 6,000-sqft taproom in south Fayetteville.

  • Bigger Space, Same Soul: Since 2018, Crisis Brewing has operated out of a small building behind Penguin Ed’s B&B BBQ. With the new build, owners Sean and Liz Slape aim to keep the same intimate neighborhood feel while adding brewing capacity, a rooftop bar, more parking, and expanded green space.

  • What’s Brewing: The new facility will sit along Nelson Hackett Blvd and feature a two-story taproom with an Irish pub feel, a small kitchen, and flexible gathering space. Crisis will remain open during construction and aims to break ground later this year and open by late 2026 or early 2027.
