Several bike clubs of Northwest Arkansas have joined forces to host NWA Bike-a-Palooza, a series of group rides to raise funds for Pedal It Forward, on Tuesday, Aug 15. Pedal it Forward collects and fixes used bikes and distributes them to those in need. Their mission is to increase access to bikes for health, transportation, or recreation.

Ride Your Bike to Give a Bike During NWA Bike-a-Palooza
Several bike clubs of Northwest Arkansas have joined forces to host NWA Bike-a-Palooza, a series of group rides to raise funds for Pedal It Forward, on Tuesday, Aug 15.
Join the Ride: Pedal it Forward collects and fixes used bikes and distributes them to those in need to increase bike access for health, transportation, or recreation.
Bike for Bikes: Join options for a road ride, mountain bike ride, or Greenway ride with other cyclists. Each ride costs $25, and 100% goes to Pedal it Forward, where $25 equals a bike for a kid in need.

Crystal Bridges Hosts Social Dance Night

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Learn how to foxtrot and cha-cha real smooth during the Social Dance Night at Crystal Bridges this Friday, Aug 11, beginning at 7p.
May I Have This Dance: Instructors from Dance with Me Studio by Aura will provide dance lessons, teaching the rhythms, moves, styles, and steps.
The Dance Hall: Enjoy a professional dance performance, a group dance lesson at 7p, followed by social dancing from 8p to midnight in the beautiful Great Hall at Crystal Bridges.

Botanical Garden of the Ozarks Highlights State Butterfly
Join the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks for a presentation from delving into the fascinating world of the Diana Fritillary, the Arkansas State Butterfly, this Saturday, Aug 12, from 10-11a.
Compare & Contrast: Learn the difference between the Diana Fritillary and the more recognized Monarch butterfly. The presentation will be led by the esteemed Ms. Shawn Hunter, an NWA Master Naturalist, Ozark Wild One, and Co-Founder of The Diana Project.
Pollen Pals: Gain a deeper understanding of the importance of protecting Arkansas pollinators and gain valuable resources and insights needed to positively impact the local ecosystem.

Cheer On Arkansas Soccer During Free Exhibition Game
Arkansas Soccer plays its final exhibition match against SIUE at Razorback Field this Saturday, Aug 12, at 6p. Fans get in free for a chance to see the team in action before the season begins.
Ranked: For the second-straight year, Arkansas Soccer will begin the season ranked No. 8 in the United Soccer Coaches poll — the fourth consecutive season the Hogs have been ranked in the top 15. Head coach Colby Hale led the team to an impressive Elite 8 appearance last season, finishing eighth in the nation.
Kick-Off: The regular season begins at Razorback Field on Aug 17 at 6:30p as Arkansas takes on Arkansas State for the start of what is sure to be another thrilling season.
