Luther George Park Nearing Completion In Downtown Springdale
Downtown Springdale is getting closer and closer to completing the Luther George Park expansion and renovation, with a grand re-opening anticipated for this October.
Revitalization: The Luther George Park renovation is part of the Downtown Springdale Master Plan with support from the Walton Family Foundation's Design Excellence Program. The park is part of the city’s larger plan to create vibrant public spaces and plazas with the flexibility to support public art, performing art, and seasonal outdoor markets.
Party In The Park: The renovation will connect the park to Spring Creek and the Razorback Greenway. The park will feature a Performance Pavilion to host events for up to 3,000 people and will include improved play spaces, outdoor spaces, and creek-side seating.
