Gearing Up for the #NWAChampionship

The #NWAChampionship presented by P&G will be held at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, with festivities beginning this weekend and running through the following week.

• Impressive feats: This championship course is not one to be taken lightly, having hosted the Greg Norman Challenge, the Phillips Classic, and the LPGA NW Arkansas Championship.

Celebrate Culture During the NWA Hispanic Heritage Festival

NWA Hispanic Heritage Festival is back this year with a new location. The event will be held on Sunday, Sep 24, from 1-5p at the NWA Mall West parking lot.

• Familia: Presented by the Fayetteville Chamber and Walmart/Sam's Club, this free, family-friendly event brings all ethnicities together to celebrate the Hispanic culture with a variety of educational and entertainment offerings, including arts and crafts, a children's area with bounce houses, health screenings, and live performances, like headliner La Internacional Sonora Dynamita.

• Divertido: Enjoy 10+ authentic food trucks and explore offerings from over 50 vendors. In conjunction with the festival, a car show will be hosted at Paul Mitchell Studios at noon (email Christian Rogue to register), and a men's and women's soccer tournament will be hosted over the weekend at the UREC Sports Complex (email Jose Sosa to register).

Enter The Comedy Zone For A Good Laugh At Walton Arts Center

Walton Arts Center is bringing The Comedy Zone, the most trusted brand in stand-up comedy, to Northwest Arkansas for a series of big laughs beginning with the hilarious Shaun Jones on Thursday, Sep 21, at 7:30p.

• Star Lineup: The Comedy Zone Series will feature comedians like Shaun Jones, Andy Woodhull, Greg Morton, Tammy Pescatelli, Dave Williamson, Michael Palascak, and more throughout the season in the 240-capacity Starr Theater with a mix of cabaret tables and tiered theater seating to create an intimate, club-like atmosphere.

• On the Stand: Shaun Jones has been featured on BET’S ComicView, Starz 1st Amendment Stand Up, and Robert Townsend’s Partners In Crime: Next Generation. He also appeared in the 2003 movie Shade, starring Jamie Foxx and Sylvester Stallone. Opening for Jones is seasoned stand-up comedian, Jim Holder.

Northwest Arkansas Naturals Release Home Game Schedule for 2024

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals have announced their 2024 home game schedule featuring 69 home games between April 5th and September 15th.

• Opponents: Including Tulsa Drillers, Arkansas Travelers, Wichita Wind Surge, Midland RockHounds, Amarilllo Sod Poodles, Corpus Christi Hooks, and Frisco RoughRiders.

• Fun times: Fans can look forward to 10 six-game and three three-game homestands, as well as summer holidays like Mother's Day, Memorial Day Weekend, July 3rd, and Labor Day Weekend.
