  • A Real Page-Turner: Nearly 2 billion books are printed each year in the U.S., many of which are never read or, worse, end up in landfills. NWA Book Swap hopes to reduce book waste by connecting readers so they can trade gently used books for new titles in a way that encourages more sustainable and accessible reading practices.

  • GoodReads In Real Life: Meet other book lovers and hype up your favorite stories at the Recommendation Station. There will be local snacks, drinks, and desserts for purchase from Ozark Beer Co, Hawkmoth Brewery, Flourish Coffee, Pink House Alchemy, and Cura Culinary.

University of Arkansas Receives $4.9M Grant to Expand First-of-its-Kind Prosthetic

The University of Arkansas Institute for Integrative and Innovative Research (I3R) has been awarded a $4.9m grant from the U.S. Department of Defense to expand a groundbreaking prosthetic clinical trial that aims to restore a sense of touch to individuals with limb loss.

  • Exciting Partnership: Working in collaboration with Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, one of the nation’s premier clinics for patients with amputations, will expand I3R’s clinical trials reach to service members and veterans who are eligible

  • Restoring Touch: The Neural Enabled Prosthesis for Upper Limb Amputees clinical trial is testing a prosthetic hand system that can provide users with sensations of touch, grip force, and hand opening.
