Backroom Social Club recently took on the lease for 1004 S.E. 5th St., the 12,000 sq. ft. space formerly home to CACHE Studios, with plans to open a multipurpose community events center and nightlife hub in Downtown Bentonville.
Popping Off: Backroom was founded by Sam Solano and Karen Leibowitz last year, mostly hosting pop-up events like the FORMAT Festival Afterparty and a family-friendly dance party at the Momentary. Dreams for the new space include a recording studio, bar, and coffee shop.
Night Owls: Providing a new late-night destination for the Bentonville Arts District, Backroom is expected to be open from 9p-3a on Thursdays through Saturdays. It will also host art auctions, jazz nights, daytime family-friendly events, and more.
