Red Ball To Bounce Its Way Around Northwest Arkansas This Fall

RedBall Project, which is considered the world’s longest-running street art project, will make its Northwest Arkansas debut this September.

  • Bouncing Around: RedBall is a traveling public art piece by American artist Kurt Perschke. The piece has been to over 40 cities globally, including Paris, Abu Dhabi, Tokyo, and more, moving through a city with a new site each day of the performance.

  • Ready To Roll: Over five days, the 15-foot-tall, 250-pound ball will be squished and stuffed into creative locations around Bentonville, Rogers, Siloam Springs, Rogers, and Fayetteville. Creative Arkansas Community Hub & Exchange (CACHE), which helped organize the RedBall visit, plans to host Kurt Perschke for an artist talk at 21C Museum Hotel and an artist event with MIXD in Rogers—dates TBD.

Inaugural Girls On The Run NWA ‘Sneakers at the Stadium’ Event Set For Aug 9

Join Girls on the Run of Northwest Arkansas for their inaugural Sneakers at the Stadium event inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Friday, Aug 9!

  • In Their Shoes: Razorback Softball Head Coach Courtney Deifel will be the featured speaker, along with special guest appearances by Miss Arkansas Camille Cathey, Miss University of Arkansas, and Razorback Track & Field Student-Athlete LilliAnn Nunely and Miss Arkansas’s Teen Peyton Bolling.

  • Sneak Peak: Enjoy delicious tailgate food, an open bar, stunning views of Razorback Stadium atop the North End Zone deck, an exciting silent auction, and music/mingling. Tickets are $50 or $75 for the VIP Experience, which includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the Razorback Football gameday locker room and a photo opportunity with a Razorback mascot.
