NWA Home Show Returns For Its Biggest Year Yet
The ultimate home show experience returns this weekend with the 34th Annual NWA Home Show at the Rogers Convention Center from Feb 2-4.
The Experts: Over 100 vendors will be present, offering expert advice and sharing the latest trends in interior design, landscaping, renovation, home technology, and more.
Honey-Do’s: Whether you're looking to spruce up your living room or revamp your entire house, you're sure to walk away with the right information or connections to knock out your next home project.

Walton Arts Center Holding Open Auditions For WACapella

Auditions are now open for local singers to join WACapella, an acapella group set to perform during the 8th Annual VoiceJam A Cappella Festival at Walton Arts Center this April.
Use Your Voice: This year’s VoiceJam is set for Apr 12-13, featuring a headliner concert by Take 6, a vocal competition with groups from across the nation, workshops, singing opportunities for local community members, and in-school outreach.
Aca’scuse Me: Sixteen local singers will have an opportunity to sing at VoiceJam this year, with auditions being accepted until Feb 26. Selected singers will come together to rehearse and perform on Walton Arts Center’s big stage during the Competition on Apr 13.

NYT Bestselling Author Kiley Reid Brings Book Tour Through Fayetteville
New York Times Bestselling author Kiley Reid will be at Fayetteville Public Library next Wednesday, Feb 7, at 6:30 in the Event Center to discuss her new book Come and Get It, set at the University of Arkansas.
Book Club: This event is hosted by Fayetteville Public Library in partnership with Pearl’s Books and Two Friends Books. Following the talk, books will be available for sale along with a book signing.
Best Seller: Released just yesterday, Come and Get It is set in Fayetteville, where Kiley Reid spent time living and writing her debut novel Such a Fun Age, which quickly gained her attention as an exhilarating new voice in fiction for her nuanced yet accessible ability to examine culture.

Shiloh Museum Of Ozark History To Offer Free Day Camps During Spring Break
Shiloh Museum of Ozark History will provide two day-long camps for students ages 6-12 during spring break on Tuesday, Mar 19, and Thursday, Mar 21.
Day Camp: Admission is free, though registration is required for each day separately. Class will be limited to 25 students per day, with drop off from 8:45-9a and pick up from 4:30-4:45p.
Toys In Time: Kids will dive into the fascinating history of toys and games, discover how ancient toys were tied to the seasons and natural resources, and create lasting memories while engaging in the rich history of the Arkansas Ozarks.

Slim Chickens At XNA Expected To Open Next Week
Slim Chickens is finally ready to take flight at the Northwest Arkansas National Airport with plans to open on Monday, Feb 5.
The Chicken Biz: Behind the new location is local entrepreneur Mike Philip, who owns seven Tropical Smoothie locations and four Einstein Bros Bagels locations across Northwest Arkansas with business partner Aaron Nickell.
What’s Cookin’: The new Slim Chickens becomes the seventh restaurant currently operating at the airport and expects to add 75 new jobs to the community.
