• The Little Night Market by The Little Craft Show will bring live music, food, drinks, makers, and more to Likewise in Fayetteville on Jul 21.

• Kansas City Jazz Ensemble HORACESCOPE will transform Crystal Bridges’ Great Hall into an intimate jazz club with live music and handcrafted drinks on Jul 28.

• Chamber Music on the Mountain Festival will commemorate Mount Sequoyah’s 100th year with a weeklong festival featuring Arkansas composers and folk music traditions.

Music Moves Opens Permanent Venue In Downtown Rogers

Northwest Arkansas celebrates a new music venue this weekend as Music Moves hosts the Grand Opening of The Music Depot in Downtown Rogers on Jul 7-8.

• A real gem: Most recently home of Golden’s Jewelry Store, the historic space was initially built in 1912 as The Gem Theater. Music Moves will revive the entertainment venue as a space for music education and performances that honor the history of Black music.

• Taking the stage: The Music Depot’s inaugural weekend kicks off with back-to-back performances by The Hamiltones on Jul 7 at 6:30p and 9p, followed by Chris Cameron Blues Band on Jul 8 at 7p.

Best Friends Pet Resource Center Hosts Ice Cream Social

Make a new four-legged friend during the Dog Days Of Summer adoption event at Best Friends Pet Resource Center in Bentonville on Thursday, Jul 6, from 6-7:30p.

• Can we keep him? Come check out the adoptable dogs and puppies currently in care at the state-of-the-art Pet Resource Center and maybe just take home a new best friend — adoption fees will be waived!

Make A Mess With Macaroni KID

Back for its third year, the Northwest Arkansas MESS FEST with Macaroni KID returns for a fun-filled, messy day at Lokomotion in Fayetteville on Jul 22, from 10a-1p.

• Join the mess: Vendors will have a variety of fun stations in the meadow at Lokomotion for kids to enjoy. Interested vendors can email Kara to apply!

• Go crazy: Kids can enjoy getting messy with activities like shaving cream painting, mud pie station, slime, water beads, and a sandpit Dino dig.

New Apartments Under Development In Fayetteville

A new luxury apartment complex called The Junction at Shiloh will be developed along Hwy 49 in Fayetteville.

• Luxury living: The Junction at Shiloh will feature 12 studio, 118 one-bedroom, 35 two-bedroom, and 12 three-bedroom high-end units, along with many luxury amenities like a resort-style pool, fitness center, and more.

• Convenient location: Located on North Shiloh Drive at the Stephen Carr Memorial Boulevard exit, the community is just miles from the University of Arkansas and has easy access to Hwy 49. Units are set to open in mid-2024.
