Who Let The Dogs Out? 🌭

Just Plane Amazing: Benjamin McDaniel, also known as The Pilot Picasso on Instagram, traced the Mona Lisa along the Oklahoma-Arkansas line, starting from Bentonville. His latest piece is a giant fingerprint reading "You are loved" over parts of Washington County, which took more than five hours to complete.

Flying Colors: McDaniel flies a Cessna R182 Skylane RG. His artwork comes to life through 3D flight replays from AirNav Radar, with many of his creations taking shape right here in Northwest Arkansas.

Hoppy Fall: The family-friendly, free festival will include live music at multiple stages, square dancing, a stein-holding competition, local craft beer, fall cocktails & mocktails, local artists and makers, art installations, activities, games, and more.

It’s Pawty Time: There will also be a weenie dog race and a Dogtoberfest competition, which is a dog costume contest at Puritan Coffee featuring 11 categories, including the Most Likely to Make You LOL award and the Best Dog + Human Duo award.

Create, Explore, Repeat: Get hands-on with activities that encourage kids and grown-ups to make, experiment, get a little messy, and discover something new together. Even when an experiment doesn’t go as planned, there’s always another chance to try again.

Family First: Bring the grandparents, invite friends, or simply spend quality time together away from the everyday routine. With something new to explore around every corner, every visit can create a story worth remembering.

Race Day: Expect an opening ceremony, costume contest, dog races by breed and age, a K9 demo, a parade featuring some of Bella Vista Animal Shelter’s adoptable dogs, door prizes, raffles, and more.

Paws for a Cause: Other breeds of dogs can join the "Wanna Be" races and Musical Sit, where the last dog sitting wins. Bella Vista Animal Shelter will host the event, with all proceeds supporting its mission to help homeless pets in the area.

Long Train Runnin': Each 70-mile round-trip train ride will journey through the Boston Mountain range of the Ozarks. After the train ride, guests will take a beginner-level hike at Devil’s Den State Park.

Take a Hike: Train Ride & Hike dates are Wednesday, Oct 21, Wednesday, Oct 28, Thursday, Nov 5, and Saturday, Nov 14. Each excursion runs from 9a-5:45p, starting at the Motto in Downtown Bentonville.
