NWA Needs $1.5B Additional Wastewater Investment
Northwest Arkansas will need $1.5B in additional wastewater plant investment to keep pace with future growth.
Pipe Dreams: The region currently has enough wastewater capacity overall, but it's not located where growth is happening.
Sewage the Day: The $1.5B number would cover plant upgrades only and doesn't include other infrastructure costs. More findings are expected to go public this fall.

Arkansasβs First-Ever Whole-Body MRI Screening Practice Is Here
Veralux in Rogers helps people look beyond symptoms for a clearer picture of their health.
Feeling Well Isnβt the Whole Story: Early detection is not about finding everything. It is about creating another opportunity to see what may be happening quietly inside the bodyβleading to earlier questions, more informed conversations, and potentially different next steps.
A Different Look Inside: Veraluxβs physician-guided whole-body MRI provides detailed images of the brain, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and spineβwithout radiation or contrast dye. Every screening includes expert interpretation, a patient-friendly report, access to your images, and a personal consultation with a board-certified radiologist. New Veralux Indicators go beyond the images with added insights into brain health, body composition, and liver health. Whole-body MRI is designed to complement, not replace, primary care and traditional screening.

Pea Ridge Unveils Plans For A Potential New Park
The City of Pea Ridge may turn a donated 33-acre piece of historic land into a new public park, with a less traditional approach.
Park it Here: Rather than playgrounds, the city is considering a quieter park experience with a fishing pond, archery, trails, a bait and tackle shop, space for food trucks, indoor and outdoor event spaces, and more.
Nature Calls: The city may also preserve a historic building on the property, which is connected to early settlers from the 1800s. No opening date has been announced.
