Friday Night Lights: Food trucks will open at 11a, followed by a yoga class at 1p. More than 100 vendor booths will open at 3p. Live entertainment will begin at 5p. There will also be kids’ activities and carnival games.

Free Fallin’: The event is free and family-friendly, with leashed pets welcome. Free parking will also be available throughout Downtown parking garages and streets. This will be the second-to-last First Friday of the year.

Park it Here: Rather than playgrounds, the city is considering a quieter park experience with a fishing pond, archery, trails, a bait and tackle shop, space for food trucks, indoor and outdoor event spaces, and more.

Nature Calls: The city may also preserve a historic building on the property, which is connected to early settlers from the 1800s. No opening date has been announced.
