Dodo Coffee Officially Opened in Fayetteville

Dodo Coffee officially opened its new location just off Wedington Drive in Fayetteville today, Aug 24, with a grand opening celebration planned for Saturday, Aug 29, from 7a-6p.

  • Back & Better: The shop opened after its previous location on MLK Blvd was demolished for a road expansion project, forcing the team to find a new location and continue serving Northwest Arkansas with its mobile coffee trailer.

  • A Kupp of Joe: It is co-owned by two-time Super Bowl Champion Cooper Kupp, alongside his wife, brother-in-law, and extended family. Operating hours are Monday-Friday from 6a-6p, Saturday from 7a-6p, and Sunday from 7a-3p.

Development

New Condos & Restaurant Planned for Johnson Square

A new development is expected at the 93-acre Johnson Square in Johnson, with a launch party planned for this Tuesday, Aug 25, from 4-8p.

  • Suite News: The Morgan will feature eight new condominiums and a restaurant space, with plans to announce the restaurant tenant later in the construction process.

  • Square Deal: It will be located steps from existing Johnson Square favorites like Pizzeria Ruby, Ozark Mountain Bagel, and Hail Fellow Well Met. The launch party will allow guests to get a first look at renderings and floor plans.

Monarch Flight Festival Returns To Springdale

The Monarch Flight Festival will take over Downtown Springdale on Saturday, Sep 19, from 11a-4p.

  • Winging It: It is a free, family-friendly celebration of the monarch butterfly's migration from Canada through Northwest Arkansas toward Mexico. Expect activities, demonstrations, learning stations, arts & crafts, and more.

  • Float Like a Butterfly: There will also be the signature Monarch Flight Parade, with food, music, storytelling, and performances honoring the cultures connected along the monarch's journey.

Razorbacks Host Season Opener Against North Alabama Lions

The Arkansas Razorbacks will kick off their 2026 football season against North Alabama at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville on Saturday, Sep 5, at 3:15p.

  • Hog Wild: This will be new head coach Ryan Silverfield’s first home game leading the Hogs, and the 132nd season of Arkansas Football.

  • Woo Pig Sooie: With a new season comes a lot to look forward to on football Saturdays in Fayetteville, including crisp mornings in the Ozarks, Chuck Barrett’s β€œTouchdown Arkansas,” Friday night pep rallies, pre-game flyovers, tailgates, calling the Hogs with 76,000 of your closest friends, and so much more.
