Springdale Bypass And XNA Connector To Open Soon

The Springdale Bypass and XNA Connector are on track for a ribbon-cutting in early September, with drivers potentially driving the new freeways by late August.

  • Let's Connect: The two four-lane, controlled-access roads will link I-49, Hwy 412, and XNA, letting drivers skip nearly every stoplight. Only one stoplight will remain, where the connector meets Hwy 264 and Airport Boulevard.

  • Fast Track: The project should cut delays and stress for anyone heading to the airport.

New Boat Club on Beaver Lake

Prairie Creek Marina in Rogers recently launched a new Boat Club that lets Northwest Arkansans get out on Beaver Lake without ever owning a boat.

  • How It Works: All Boat Club members have to do is show up and enjoy a shared pontoon boat with other members. The marina team will handle cleaning, fueling, and upkeep. Lifejackets and select water toys are included too, and there is no cap on how many times you can hop on the boat each year.

  • No Crowded Boat Ramps: No more than eight members are allowed to share a boat. Members can also use the boat well past summer, since Beaver Lake stays boat-friendly during mild fall and winter days too.
