Darius Rucker To Play Live Show at Walmart AMP
Darius Rucker and his Songs of Summer Tour will take over the Walmart AMP on Thursday, Jul 30, with gates opening at 5:30p and the show starting at 7:30p.
GOAT: The former Hootie & the Blowfish lead and three-time Grammy winner has racked up 10 No. 1 country hits. His version of "Wagon Wheel" is one of the five best-selling country songs of all time.
Double Feature: Before taking the AMP stage, Rucker will stop by the Sam's Club in Bentonville from 2-4p on Thursday for a wine tasting and bottle signing.

Bold Lives Men’s Thrift To Open This Fall In Northwest Arkansas

Free Picnic in the Park in Downtown Springdale
Downtown Springdale will host Picnic in the Park every Saturday in August, kicking off Aug 8, from 11a–2p.
Law-n and Order: The monthlong series brings together great food, live local DJs, and plenty of lawn space to relax with friends and family.
Picnic Perfect: Grab lunch from an on-site food vendor or a Downtown Springdale restaurant—or bring your own picnic. The event takes place Aug 8, 15, 22, and 29, all from 11a–2p.

Development
An Update on Two Major Highway Projects in NWA

Two of the area’s biggest highway projects are reshaping how Northwest Arkansans connect to I-49.
Let’s Connect: The XNA Connector is a nearly 4-mile, four-lane highway that will link XNA directly to the Springdale Northern Bypass, separating airport traffic from local roads and giving drivers a more direct shot to I-49.
Extendo: Crews continue to work on a 14-mile I-49 project that includes a new bridge over the Arkansas River and will connect I-49 all the way from Kansas City to New Orleans.
