Dodo Coffee in Fayetteville Has An Opening Date Set
Dodo Coffee announced a loose opening date for its new building on Wedington Drive in Fayetteville.
A Kupp of Joe: The coffee shop, co-owned by the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl champion Cooper Kupp, plans to open the new store in mid-July, just as University of Arkansas students begin returning to Northwest Arkansas for the fall semester.
Perk Up: Dodo also operates a mobile coffee trailer, a location inside Razorback Stadium during football season, and a café inside Tyson Foods’ headquarters. The company is also developing a mobile app that will feature online ordering and educational content, and it has an existing roastery program and is making a push into wholesale.

Pediatrics Plus, a pediatric healthcare team known for its nature-based therapy, is set to open its second Northwest Arkansas Farm Therapy campus in Springdale this Thursday, Jun 25.

Mill Branch Park in Goshen will add 50 acres of permanently protected forestland.
Parks & Rec: The expansion will increase the park’s footprint by nearly 50 percent, while preserving natural habitat and strengthening the city’s long-term commitment to conservation and outdoor recreation.
The Natural State: The park already offers trails, ponds, disc golf, and scenic creek views, making it one of the region’s standout outdoor spaces.

The State Invests $5M in UA Food Science Center
$5M in new funding will be allocated towards the University of Arkansas’s planned Food Science facility in Fayetteville.
Food for Thought: Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the state funding for the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture’s planned Center of Excellence for Food Science and Innovation in Fayetteville. It will be added to an already-existing $30M of federal funding.
Chew On It: The two-story, 62,000 sqft center will feature specialized laboratories and collaborative spaces designed to support food research, workforce training, and product development while supporting economic growth statewide.
