Raising the Baaaaa! A local family noticed sheep were missing from Fayetteville’s urban agriculture code, which already permits bees, poultry, and goats. They brought the issue to the City Council and asked that the code be updated.

One Sheep, Two Sheep: On Tuesday, June 2, the council unanimously approved the change, which requires sheep to be kept in pairs, on lots smaller than 10K sqft and kept within a fenced, sanitary yard.

Paws-itively Helpful: The animal hospital will provide 24/7 emergency veterinary care for families throughout the region. It is located behind the new Whole Foods in Rogers off of West New Hope Road.
