Fayetteville Public Library Wants Your Input

Fayetteville Public Library is asking community members to help shape its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan—and you don't have to live in Fayetteville to participate.

  • Who Can Take It? In addition to Fayetteville residents, anyone in Northwest Arkansas who uses the library is encouraged to share their thoughts. Feedback will help guide future programs, services, spaces, and community offerings.

  • Two Quick Surveys: One for adults and one for kids, each taking about five minutes to complete. The deadline is June 30, and your feedback today will help shape the library experience for years to come.

Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders Coming To NWA

Huey Magoo's, a fast-casual chain known for its chicken tenders, announced plans for four locations across Northwest Arkansas.

  • Look At All Those Chickens: The restaurant, also known as the Filet Mignon of Chicken, will plant its flag in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville.

  • Ms. Moogoo Magoo: The menu is built around chicken tenderloins, served hand-breaded or grilled with 10 signature sauces, plus sandwiches, wraps, salads, hand-spun chips, and much more.

An Update On Bentonville’s New STEM University

World-renowned architecture firm BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group has been selected to design the new STEM-focused university on the former Walmart Home Office site in Bentonville.

  • Big Campus: The 422,000-sqft campus will open with an academic building, student residence, and a makerspace with labs, workshops, and more visible from the street.

  • STEMulated: The university will embed artificial intelligence across all academic programs and operations, serving as a national model for what STEM education can become. The first class of students is expected in 2029.
