Rodeo of the Ozarks in Springdale Hosts Spring Carnival
Head over to the Rodeo of the Ozarks’ Spring Carnival at Parsons Stadium in Springdale from Friday, May 22, through Sunday, May 31.
Fun-nel All Week Long: Expect carnival rides, games, funnel cakes, corn dogs, lemonade, and all the nostalgic fair favorites.
Ride the Swirl: The carnival is expected to run from 5-10p on weekdays and 5-11p on weekends, weather permitting.

Smaller Towns Outpace NWA Big Four Cities In Population Growth
Smaller cities in Northwest Arkansas continue to outpace the region’s big four, Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville, in population growth, according to a recent report from KNWA.
Growing Gains: From Apr 2020 to Jul 2025, Centerton has led the region in growth, expanding by 48.93%. It’s followed by Lowell at 22.5% and Siloam Springs at 21.5%.
The Quiet Surge: While they didn’t appear in the primary graphic, several smaller towns have seen even sharper increases. Since 2020, Tontitown has grown by 86%, followed by Highfill at 77%. Communities like Farmington, Pea Ridge, Gentry, Prairie Grove, and Elm Springs have also posted notable gains over the last six years.

OZ Stage Race Brings Four Days of Mountain Biking
The OZ Stage Race returns this week with four days of mountain bike stage racing across the OZ Trails network, happening Thursday, May 21, through Sunday, May 24.
Best of the Best: Riders from 36 states and 6 countries around the world are set to compete in the four-day race.
Pedal on the Weekend: Beyond racing, the OZ Stage Race will feature a festival-like atmosphere with community events, training resources, and a celebration of Northwest Arkansas’s growing reputation as a mountain biking destination.
