Five Northwest Arkansas Waterfalls Worth the Hike This Spring

Arkansas Tourism

Northwest Arkansas’s waterfalls make for refreshing spring hikes in the region,

  • Easy Does It: Tanyard Creek Falls, Kings River Falls, and Sweden Creek Falls all offer short-to-moderate hikes through the Ozark forests, leading to scenic waterfalls and swimming spots.

  • Go Hard or Go Home: Hemmed-In Hollow Falls is a bit more of a demanding waterfall adventure, with a steeper trail and river crossings, but it comes with cool views. The 209-foot Falls is actually the tallest waterfall between the Rockies and the Appalachian Mountains.
