Learn From Local Pros: Attendees can choose from 10 sessions led by local writing and publishing experts. On Saturday, Apr 18, three 90-minute sessions will run simultaneously throughout the day, covering writing, publishing, and poetry. Advance registration is required to reserve a spot.

Connect and Create: Breaks between sessions offer time to mingle with fellow writers and browse books from Pearl’s Books, featuring works by session presenters. Sunday, Apr 19, brings a drop-in Blackout Poetry program and an Open Mic Session, with pre-registration required for performers but open attendance for all.

Plot Twist: Guests will be served a five-course tasting menu from Chef Chrissy Sanderson, while blindfolded. The evening is designed to shift focus to taste, smell, and texture, with guidance from World Services for the Blind’s staff throughout the meal.

For A Good Cause: The event helps raise awareness and funds for programs that empower people who are blind or visually impaired to live and work independently, both in Arkansas and around the world.

Grown-Up Explorers: From Tipsy Chemistry to racing 24-Volt racers, spinning motion chairs, printing steam-roller T-shirts, and stepping into immersive spaces like the monochromatic room, the museum becomes a playground of hands-on discoveries.

Community Creativity in Action: Partners including NWACC, Gnargo Bike Co., and Pinpoint Fayetteville help bring art, motion, and invention to life throughout the museum.

Suit Up: Expect guests to wear costumes, plus vendors selling everything from anime merch to handmade art and collectibles.

Game On: The event also features gaming, panels, and live entertainment, giving fans a chance to hang out, learn something new, and connect with others.
