XNA Expands Footprint With Land Purchase
The Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) is making moves to accommodate the region’s rapid growth with a new land purchase.
Expanding the Horizon: The airport has acquired nearly 100 acres near its existing property, opening the door to future development as travel demand across Northwest Arkansas continues to climb. The additional space helps position XNA to better serve the region’s growing population and increased passenger traffic.
Land Ho! While plans for the land are still forming, leaders say the property could support a second runway.

New Rotating Chef Restaurant Expected in Bentonville
A new one-of-a-kind dining experience, Bentoville Food Theater, will open its doors in the former Pressroom space in Downtown Bentonville this spring.
Yes Chef! Diners will enjoy three interactive areas, a sushi counter, a charcoal grill for yakitori, and a rotating show stage for visiting chefs. The rotating space is designed to model the diversity of dining found in big cities without requiring multiple new restaurant spaces.
The Timeline: Onyx Coffee Lab will also expand into the space, adding a new east bar for matcha and tea, a walk-up window, and a remodeled wine shop. Construction is set to wrap in April, with a grand opening planned for May.
