Sooie, a new bar, is set to open in Downtown Fayetteville on Dickson Street, with an opening date to be announced soon.

  • WPSooie: The new hangout will move into a former Dickson Street location, bringing fresh life to Downtown Fayetteville.

  • Hoppy Hour: Guests can expect a full drink selection. The spot plans to be open in time for the St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl on Saturday, Mar 14.

UAV Manufacturer Cuts Ribbon At Drake Field

Swarm Aero officially opened its new Advanced Manufacturing Center at Drake Field in Fayetteville this week.

  • Aero-Dynamic: The new 80K sqft facility will manufacture large uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs), with the capacity to build thousands of aircraft and create hundreds of high-skill jobs over the next decade. Leaders say the site will play a key role in future defense and autonomous aircraft production.

  • Why NWA: After evaluating more than 20 states, company executives chose Northwest Arkansas for its skilled workforce, strong partnerships, and long-term growth potential in advanced aerospace innovation.

Welcoming Week NWA’s 2025 Impact Report

Welcoming Week NWA recently released its 2025 Impact Report, spotlighting civic engagement, community connection, and belonging across Northwest Arkansas.

  • Big Numbers, Bigger Impact: In 2025, the initiative hosted 65 events in partnership with 72 organizations, engaging more than 15K participants across the region. Welcoming Week NWA also connected 1,100 students to volunteer fairs and shared 35 teen volunteer opportunities.

  • A Growing Region: Northwest Arkansas welcomes about 40 new residents each day, and more than 108 languages are spoken in local schools, reflecting the area’s cultural richness and dynamic growth.
