XNA Sets Record-Breaking Year in Passenger Growth

Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA)

Northwest Arkansas National Airport is set to close out 2024 with record-breaking passenger numbers, already beating its previous high of 991,489 passengers in 2023 with over 1,045,971 passengers through November.

  • Getting Carried Away: XNA’s three major airlines — American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines — have all seen significant growth in 2024. Delta leads with 28,000 more passengers than its 2023 total, followed by United with 24,000 additional passengers and American adding 16,000.

  • The Window Seat: Airlines have dramatically increased outbound seat capacity from around 3,200 daily seats last year to roughly 4,200 this year, helping local travelers find convenient flights and reducing the need to drive to airports outside the region.

With December numbers pending, XNA is on track to exceed 1.1M passengers this year. Find more info HERE.
