New Pizza Spot Set To Open In Downtown Rogers

NWA Daily

Ria, a new premium pizza restaurant, is set to open in Downtown Rogers, most likely by the end of 2025.

  • Pizza is Art: Co-owners, Joao from Brazil and Zackery from NWA, met at Lady Slipper in Downtown Bentonville, where the dream for Ria was born. The ownership team aims to bring the art of pizza to Northwest Arkansas, drawing on over 30 years of restaurant, bar, and baking experience.

  • Ria, For Short: The spot will be open 6 days a week, featuring Neapolitan-style pizza with locally sourced ingredients, a full-service bar with espresso martinis and prosecco on tap, dessert pizzas, and more. Their dream is to open 3 locations throughout the region over the next two years.

$239M Line Of Credit Offered To Revamp Bentonville Sewer System

NWA Daily

City leaders in Bentonville announced last week that a major overhaul of the sewer system will be financed with a $239 million line of credit from the Alice L. Walton Foundation.

  • Pipeline Pressure Points: Development is currently paused in parts of Bentonville because of sewer capacity issues. At the simplest level, the existing pipes are too small to support additional growth.

  • A Flush of Funding: The foundation will loan the funds on an as-needed, project-by-project basis. To pay back the loans, the city government plans to add sewer fees for new developments.
