NWA Holiday Market At The Northwest Arkansas Convention Center

The 7th Annual NWA Holiday Market returns to the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center from Friday, Nov 7, through Saturday, Nov 8.

• ‘Tis The Season To Shop: Shop more than 160 booths featuring gifts, décor, clothing, jewelry, health & beauty, food, children’s items, repurposed goods, and handcrafted treasures, plus photo opportunities with Santa.

• For A Good Cause: Admission is $5, and parking is free. All proceeds benefit the Children’s Safety Center of Washington County.

Faymosa, a new family-owned restaurant on the Fayetteville Square, is set to officially open on Saturday, Nov 15.

• Square Roots: Located in the former home of Tula, Faymosa brings together two families with chef experience across local dining spots in town, creating a fresh concept in Downtown Fayetteville.

NWA Council Releases State Of The Region Report

The Northwest Arkansas Council recently released its 2025 State of the Northwest Arkansas Region report.

• Stats Don’t Lie: The annual report measures how the region stacks up against other top metros like Austin, Des Moines, Madison, and Raleigh. It tracks key factors such as GDP, job growth, income, education, and housing costs, which help gauge the region's economic health and inform decisions to shape a better future.

• Compute the Commute: Some fun statistics to chew on this week: 73.3% of workers spent less than 30 minutes commuting to work, which was the second highest versus peer regions. More than 7K net-new jobs were created in Northwest Arkansas between 2023-2024. The region ranked highest among its peers in high-tech employment growth, posting an 8.3% increase year over year.
