Discover the American West Together at Crystal Bridges
Knowing the West, the latest exhibition at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, offers an engaging journey through the diverse stories and art of the American West.
Unheard Voices: The exhibition includes over 120 works of textiles, pottery, beadwork, and paintings which showcase the contributions of Native American artists, women, and other voices often left out of traditional history. The exhibit offers a more robust vision of the American West than what we're used to seeing in common depictions and Hollywood's old westerns.
Into The West: Enjoy a family outing that’s both fun and meaningful. From intricate designs to bold colors, Knowing the West connects visitors of all ages with art and history. Admission is $12 for adults and free for members, tribal citizens, veterans, SNAP participants, and youth under 18.
Knowing the West is on view through Jan 27. View selected works from the exhibition HERE.
