Pet-Friendly Cafe Continues To Grow Roots In Bentonville

Third Space Coffee, located inside Best Friends Pet Resource Center in Bentonville, has been serving up great coffee since March 2023.
The Space: The independently owned, completely vegan café features gluten-free grab-and-go snacks and a seasonal coffee and tea menu. It’s a pet-friendly spot with free WiFi, perfect for your next work-from-home day.
In the Pawpline: The new 8th St Gateway Park envelops the Best Friends campus. This will place Thirdspace inside one of NWA’s largest parks, giving visitors the chance to sip coffee while enjoying the outdoors with their four-legged friends.

The Momentary To Kick Off Inaugural Pastry Week
The Momentary will host its newest culinary experience, Pastry Week, from Wednesday, Dec 3, through Saturday, Dec 6.
The Great Bentonville Bake Off: The four-day event will feature a mix of free and ticketed experiences, including workshops with acclaimed chefs Caroline Schiff and Stacey Mei Yan Fong, a panel discussion, film screenings, and more.
For The Foodies: Guests can also enjoy a multi-course, pastry-focused dinner curated by the Crystal Bridges culinary team, browse locally made baked goods at the Baker’s Market, or compete in a Cookie Contest judged by a panel of experts.

Experience Big Stories, Bold Moves, and Ballet at FPL this Month
The Fayetteville Public Library is bringing a full lineup of powerful storytelling and community events this November.
Memory & Music: On Wednesday, Nov 12, from 6–7:30p, veterans Larry Rottmann, Tim Burrows, and Eli Redstone will share personal stories from the Vietnam War, accompanied by live original music. The evening aims to reveal the lesser-heard, human side of war and the “better angels” of our nature.
Author Talks: Bestselling author Dave Eggers joins KUAF’s Kyle Kellams for a live conversation on Tuesday, Nov 18, at 7p. A signing will follow, with books available from Pearl’s Books. Seating is free but limited. So RSVP.
Holiday Classic: On Saturday, Nov 29, from 10–11a, the NWA Ballet Theatre brings excerpts of The Nutcracker to the library’s Event Center for a free, family-friendly performance.

Weave the People Hosts The Joy of Mutuality Gathering

Weave the People returns with another community gathering, The Joy of Mutuality, at The Apollo in Springdale on Saturday, Nov 15, from 9a-2:45p.
Believe in the People: Northwest Arkansas leaders will come together to explore happiness, well-being, and connection through shared experiences and creative collaboration.
Joy in Motion: The event will include a light breakfast, movement opportunities, and curated community games. Kim Hodous will deliver a keynote on collective joy, followed by a lunch-and-learn and an afternoon of Joy Stations and Joy Cards.

Ireland-Based Architecture Firm Completes First U.S. Project In Fayetteville
Ireland-based Grafton Architects has completed its first design project in the United States, right here in Northwest Arkansas.
From Across The Pond: The firm designed the Anthony Timberlands Center to honor The Natural State’s forests and showcase the potential for timber-based developments. The four-story building highlights innovative uses of wood and sustainable design.
To The Ozarks: Spanning 42K sqft, the center houses classrooms, studios, conference spaces, and a design-build shop for students in the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas.
