A New Northwest Arkansas Cafe To Open In 2027

A new Northwest Arkansas cafe will open with plans to support people with disabilities through its business.

• Cafe on a Mission: Pathway Cafe will open in early 2027, with a mission to create an environment of inclusivity and belonging by staffing its culinary team with people who have disabilities.

• Building Skills: The cafe will launch a training academy offering a 12-week program to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build skills in personal responsibility, communication, customer service, food prep, baking, knife skills, and more.

Festival of Trees returns to Mount Sequoyah this week with three days of holiday fun, happening Thursday, Nov 13, through Saturday, Nov 15.

• Sleighin’ The 5K: On Thursday, Nov 13, lace up for the Tree Topper 5K, then stick around for cocktails and barbecue at the finish line. On Friday, Nov 14, step into Narnia as the SoNA Singers fill Millar Lodge with holiday harmonies.

• Claus and Effect: On Saturday, Nov 15, wrap up the weekend with Santa photos, hot cocoa, and drinks from the bar.

Two-Day Scenic Drive Through Arkansas Fall Foliage

The 2025 Express Rally Fall Classic hits the road Saturday, Nov 15, for a two-day scenic drive through the fall foliage of Arkansas and Oklahoma.

• The Wheel Deal: The ride costs $699 per car, kicking off in Northwest Arkansas and wrapping up in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

• A Rally Good Time: Festivities begin Friday, Nov 14, with a launch party at Fox Trail Distillery in Rogers. The route includes pre-planned pit stops for meals, fuel, and sightseeing, plus a 4-star stay at the historic National Hotel in OKC, a private reception at The Mint Bar, and a finale event at Enthusiast Auto Sales on Sunday, Nov 16.
