On Friday, Presley Paige officially declared the start of Pinkmas, the store’s annual celebration of the Christmas season—with an extremely pink twist.

Museum Of Native American History Highlights Rich History Of Indigenous Americans

Observe National Native American Heritage Month this November by visiting the Museum of Native American History in Bentonville. The museum is open Tue-Sat from 11a-5p, and admission is always free.

  • Rich History: The Museum of Native American History provides a place to experience the diverse Indigenous cultures of the Americas through pre-historic and historic art. Northwest Arkansas is predominately located across the ancestral lands of the Quapaw, Caddo, and Osage people.

  • Ol’ Tusker: MONAH is home to thousands of artifacts spanning 24,000 years, featuring items from pre-Columbian civilizations all the way back to the Paleo Period — including a complete wooly mammoth skeleton nicknamed “Tusker.”

Bentonville Rotary To Celebrate Veterans With 2024 Field Of Honor

The 5th annual Bentonville Field of Honor celebration begins this Saturday, Nov 9, honoring veterans with a display of 250 U.S. flags in a field near 2812 Central Ave.

  • Behind Each Flag: The Field of Honor is hosted by the Rotary Club of Bentonville. Each flag in the display represents an individual veteran, and the proceeds from each sponsored flag benefit local first responders, the Bentonville Public Schools ROTC, and Rotary Club initiatives.

  • Celebrating Veterans: A Veterans Day Ceremony will be held near the flag display on Monday, Nov 11, at 12p, with a VIP lunch for veterans beginning at 11a. The flag display will remain open for the community to visit until through Nov 16.
