Alice L. Walton School of Medicine Celebrates Grand Opening
Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) celebrated its grand opening on the Crystal Bridges Campus on Tuesday, Oct 29, with founder Alice Walton and the school's inaugural class of 48 medical students.
- Holistic Health: AWSOM trains physicians in whole health principles, integrating physical, mental, emotional, and social health. The four-story facility features educational spaces, including a Clinical Skills Center and Simulation Center, plus a 2-acre rooftop park and healing garden. 
- Opening Soon: The space opens to the public on Monday, Nov 3, including the lobby, art gallery, and café. The rooftop park showcases native plants with scenic campus views, while the healing garden and pond offer community wellness spaces open Mon-Fri, from 10a-5p.

Ozark Charcuterie Expanding to Downtown Rogers
Ozark Charcuterie will open a new cheese and wine shop inside First Street Flats in Downtown Rogers in Spring 2026, expanding the popular Fayetteville brand to Benton County.
- Un-Wine & Dine: The space will serve four purposes: a catering hub for Benton County, a curated wine shop with a tasting area, a retail storefront featuring kitchen essentials, and a grab-and-go destination. 
- I Woke Up Feelin’ The Cheesiest: The new concept is described by the owner as light, airy, fresh, and new, offering an elevated yet approachable cheese and wine experience in Downtown Rogers’ growing walkable district.

New Learning Center Opens in Fayetteville
Ember & Root, a new learning enrichment center, has opened in Fayetteville, offering hands-on programs for elementary through junior high students, including after-school clubs, homeschool enrichment, workshops, and seasonal camps.
- I Am Root: Founded by a former teacher, Ember & Root provides small-group programs with mixed-age formats and flexible structures, welcoming diverse learning styles while emphasizing exploration and creativity through guided challenges and open-ended projects. 
- Big Things Ahead: The education center has big plans for the rest of this year, with a six-week Spark Club session that begins on Thursday, Nov 6, plus a community open house on Friday, Dec 6, from 4-8p, featuring a hot cocoa bar, local treats, and hands-on activities.
