Herman’s Ribhouse Announces It Is Seeking New Ownership

Herman’s Ribhouse, an Arkansas Food Hall of Fame restaurant in Fayetteville, is on the hunt for new ownership.

• A Fayetteville Staple: The renowned spot, famous for its ribs, steak, and Tootsie Roll Pops, opened its doors in 1964, changing hands several times before being sold to Nick and Carrie Wright in 2013.

• New Beginnings: Now it is time for the Wright family to pass the torch after they announced on social media that the restaurant is officially for sale. The husband-and-wife team hope to find someone passionate about carrying forward Herman's legacy & tradition in Northwest Arkansas.

Opera in the Ozarks In Eureka Springs Launches Film Series

Opera in the Ozarks launches a new film series with a screening of Gordon Getty's Goodbye, Mr. Chips at Opera in the Ozarks in Eureka Springs on Sunday, Nov 9, at 2p.

• The Story: The film shares the story of a devoted schoolteacher whose decades of service become a testament to love, loss, and education, starring Opera in the Ozarks alum Nathan Granner.

• Cinema Never Sleeps: The screening marks the first in an ongoing series at the organization's new multimillion-dollar theater, expanding programming beyond the summer season to a full-year calendar.

Walton Arts Center Hosts Halloween Film Screenings

In the mood for scary movies? Walton Arts Center is hosting a Halloween Film Double Feature this Friday, Oct 31.

• Double Screening: Things kick off at 7p with the 1996 teen horror The Craft. When Sarah transfers to a new school, she falls in with a group of young witches who happen to be looking for a fourth member for their coven.

Wu Zhao, a new Chinese restaurant in Bentonville, will host a Halloween party on Friday, Oct 31, from 9:30p-2a.
