8th Street Gateway Park, a new recreational space in Bentonville, is expected to open in 2026.

  • Parks & Rec: The 100-acre space features 6 miles of mountain bike trails, a playground, a 3-acre lawn area, and climbing boulders. The Central Yard and The Porch provide dedicated spaces for events, food trucks, markets, and community gatherings.

  • Linking People and Places: 8th Street Gateway Park will help connect West Bentonville to the region’s broader trail network while offering flexible spaces designed for gatherings, recreation, and community events.

500K Packed Meals Expected At Nonprofit Event

Thousands of volunteers are expected to gather for The Pack Shack’s Feed the Funnel Party at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Rogers from Thursday, Nov 13, through Saturday, Nov 15.

  • Party In The N.W.A. Since 2014, the organization has packed more than 59M meals, and this year’s high-energy, music-filled event aims to add another 500K.

  • For A Good Cause: 13 local nonprofits serving families facing food insecurity in Northwest Arkansas will benefit from the event.

Razorback Greenway Celebrates 10 Years With Big Growth Plans

The Razorback Greenway is celebrating its tenth year, with plans for the next decade of growth.

  • The Green (40) Mile: The 40-mile trail connects South Fayetteville to Bella Vista, serving as an outdoor hub for Northwest Arkansans. Since opening, 91% of users have hit the Greenway for recreational use, making it a cornerstone of outdoor life in Northwest Arkansas.

  • Gearing Up For Growth: Moving forward, the Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission plans to expand the Greenway by strengthening inner-city connections and encouraging new neighborhood development along the trail.
