Dickson Street Gets First Street Bar at The Leroy Lounge

The Leroy Lounge on Dickson Street in Fayetteville has two new offerings, just in time for football season.

  • Pack Out The Pack Bar: Dickson Street's first street bar, located on the Leroy Lounge patio, offers walk-up service and rotating drink specials. The closest bar to campus serves as the last stop for game-day fans before they reach the stadium.

  • Sunday Funday: Every Sunday, the restaurant & bar will feature NFL watch parties with special packages available for purchase, plus 75¢ wings, $4 wells, and dart challenge giveaways for fans in team gear.

Beaver Watershed Alliance Hosts Free Workshop

Beaver Watershed Alliance hosts a free Riparian Restoration Workshop at the Goshen Community Center on Friday, Oct 24, from 8:30a-4:30p.

  • Weed Out the Bad: The hands-on workshop features both indoor and outdoor sessions, covering plant identification, invasive species removal techniques, and streambank revegetation planning. Participants receive a free guide and a complimentary lunch.

  • H2Oh Yeah! The workshop is open to city and county staff, local businesses, landowners, and the public, teaching practical skills for protecting water quality throughout the Beaver Lake watershed.

SoNA Continues Its Special Season With Beethoven Classics

The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas continues its 2025-26 season with Celebration in Motion: Beethoven 7 at Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville on Sunday, Nov 2, at 2p.

  • A Sunday Matinee: Guest Conductor David Glover, one of four finalists for SoNA's next Music Director position, leads the matinee program featuring William Grant Still's Festive Overture, selections from Smetana's Má Vlast, Jessie Montgomery's Starburst, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 7.

  • Conductor Quest: The concert is part of SoNA's unique conductor search season, giving audiences a chance to experience different conductors while enjoying world-class orchestral performances.
