Handcraft Your Ideal Weekend At The 70th Annual War Eagle Craft Fair
One of Northwest Arkansas’s most renowned crafting events begins this week with the 70th annual War Eagle Fair, featuring over 250 booths of handcrafted products along the banks of War Eagle Creek from Thursday to Sunday, Oct 17-20.
Made by hand: Since the first War Eagle Fair in 1954 was held in the living room of a few locals, the event’s number one rule for vendors has been: handcrafted only. This dedication to tradition and quality sets this fair apart from the rest.
Make the trip: The event is located at 11037 High Sky Inn Rd, Hindsville, and will be open Thursday through Saturday, from 8a-5p, and on Sunday from 8a-4p. Admission is free, though parking is $5 a vehicle.

A Nighttime Experience Like None Other: Time Loop On Display Now At Crystal Bridges
The latest project from acclaimed studio Klip Collective, Time Loop by Klip Collective: A Forest Light Experience, is currently on display at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville now through Jan 5.
Into The Woods: Klip Collective uses a unique combination of projection mapping, lighting, and sound design to create site-specific, immersive sensory experiences. Time Loop was designed exclusively for the museum's North Forest, transforming the rugged Ozark landscape into a never-before-seen journey across time and space.
Find The Light: Backed by a custom soundtrack, Time Loop features six immersive installations. Witness illuminations of the Earth's natural rhythms, see your reflection fractured across the surface of a broken time machine, and marvel at the movements of the forest in a landscape of light.

All Aboard The AM Railroad For Fall Train Rides
One of the best ways to experience the fall colors of the Ozarks is to take a fall train ride on the Arkansas-Missouri Railroad — fall rides running now through November.
Through The Hills: Different distance rides can be reserved, though some of the best views in the Natural State can be viewed along the Springdale to Winslow route, including a 3 hr, 70-mile round trip through the ruggedly beautiful Boston Mountain range, over one valley trestle, and through the 1700-ft-long Winslow Tunnel.
Train Date: If you really want to make a day of it, the Springdale to Van Buren Round Trip Excursion will take you across three valley trestles, through the Winslow Tunnel, all the way to historic Downtown Van Buren for a 3 hr layover to shop and explore before making the trip home.
