Join CASA Of Northwest Arkansas For Its Annual Light Of Hope Events
Join CASA of Northwest Arkansas for its annual Light of Hope breakfast and lunch events next month to make a positive impact on the lives of local children in foster care.
Change A Child’s Story: CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, of Northwest Arkansas equips volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect in our region, ensuring a consistent voice, a safe home, and a promising future for children in foster care.
At The Table: The Light of Hope Breakfast on Nov 7, at 7:30a, will feature keynote speaker Latriece Watkins, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer at Walmart. The Light of Hope Lunch on Nov 19, at noon, will feature keynote speaker Melanie Boulden, Group President of Prepared Foods and Chief Growth Officer at Tyson Foods.

Fox Trail Distillery Nears Completion Of Remodel With Plans To Reopen On Oct 30th

Fox Trail Distillery
Following extensive remodels, Fox Trail Distillery will reopen its tasting room in Rogers on Wednesday, October 30.
Spirited Away: One of the first independent distilleries in Northwest Arkansas, Fox Trail distills, ages, and bottles small-batch whiskeys, vodkas, gins, and various craft spirits at its location in the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers.
Back In Action: The distillery closed its tasting room at the end of July this year for remodels and is nearly ready to unveil the upgraded experience. You can also schedule tours of the distillery to learn about the process.

Local Chefs Prepare For Culinary Competition In Support Of Literacy And Education
Local chefs will compete for the title of Top Chef NWA during the Rogers Public Library Foundation’s signature fundraiser event on Friday, Oct 25, at 6:30p.
Food for Thought: An annual fundraiser to benefit the Rogers Public Library and support literacy and education in our community, the Top Chef NWA culinary competition will pit four chefs against one another to see who can wow the judges and win the popular crowd vote.
Culinary Throw Down: Attendees will experience at least four dishes prepared by the competing chefs, along with several pass dishes, signature cocktails, mouthwatering appetizers, decadent desserts, and an open bar.

Celebrate the Grand Reopening of Luther George Park In Springdale This Weekend
We’re just days away from the grand opening of Luther George Park in Downtown Springdale! Don’t miss all the great events planned for Revival Weekend, Oct 11–12.
On Stage: Enjoy music from local and national artists, including Latin jazz by Los Veleros, country tunes by Jenee Fleenor and The Wood Box Heroes, and a hip-hop showcase by NWA's finest talent.
I The Park: Experience two days of community activities, live performances, and family-friendly fun at the newly redesigned park, including free yoga sessions with The Jones Center, a free breakfast from local eateries, "Pickin' with Jenee" in a traditional pickin' circle, and an array of local food trucks and vendors.

Boochata! Join NWA Bachata Beats For A Halloween-themed Dance Night At Crystal Bridges

NWA Bachata Beats will host an evening of Latin dancing in the Great Hall of Crystal Bridges this Friday, Oct 11, from 7p to midnight.
On The Floor: The charismatic hosts of NWA Bachata Beats, Christian and Caity, will lead a one-hour beginner Bachata class at 7:30p. You don’t need a partner to join, as they rotate dancers during the class. The class will be followed by music and social dancing from 8:30p-12a.
Boochata: As part of this special Boochata Edition, guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes — cash prizes will be awarded to the best dressed! Music will include modern Bachata with a dash of Salsa, Merengue, and Cumbia.
