New Cocktail Bar to Open in Bentonville This Fall
The team behind Callisto, a speakeasy in Downtown Bentonville, is set to open a sister concept later this fall.
New on the Block: The bar, called Vesper, will be located at 401 SW A Street, just around the corner from Callisto.
Shake It Off: The concept will be a neighborhood cocktail lounge with a martini-forward menu and an intimate atmosphere.

The 37th Annual Mule Jump Returns to Pea Ridge
The 37th Annual Pea Ridge Mule Jump will take place in Pea Ridge on Saturday, Oct 10, starting at 9a.
Mule'ing It Over: More than 40 mules, who aren't exactly known for loving to jump, will be coaxed over barriers up to 6.5 feet tall as they compete for more than $4,000 in prize money.
Jump Around! Nearly 100 food and craft vendors will be at the event, along with a car show, barrel racing, flag racing, pole bending, a kids' stick horse race, and hog calling. Last year's event drew more than 6,000 people from around the country, so expect a big turnout again!

Best Friends Animal Society is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with some fun family-friendly events at the Best Friends Pet Resource Center over the next week!Β
Honor Beloved Pets: On Thursday, a free Day of the Dead Ofrenda Making workshop from 5-6p will explore Mexican traditions and guide attendees in creating a home altar to remember pets and loved ones who have passed. Earlier that day, the Dog Treat Lab from 4-6p invites all ages to mix, cut, and bake homemade treats for their pups or shelter dogs.
Celebrate at Mascota Fest: Sundayβs Mascota Fest will feature Hispanic Heritage celebrations, local vendors, an open house, and a free vaccine and microchip clinic for dogs and cats from 12-3p. Vaccine clinic appointments are required.

A Farm-to-Table Dinner in Fayetteville
Apple Seeds Teaching Farm in Fayetteville will host Evening at the Farm on Saturday, Oct 10, at 6p.
Farm to Table: The event will feature a farm-to-table dinner prepared by three Northwest Arkansas chefs. Cocktail hour begins at 6p with live music from the Meadow Makers, followed by a multi-course dinner and auction at 7p.
Good Food, Good Cause: Proceeds will benefit Apple Seeds' programs, which reach more than 20,000 K-12 students each year with hands-on lessons in growing, cooking and eating healthy food.

$45M Development To Complete in Centerton by Summer 2028
Construction is underway on The Emerald, a $45.1M apartment development in Centerton expected to be completed in summer 2028.
Growing Up: The project will bring 256 apartments across more than 312,000 sqft and nine residential buildings on 9.16 acres near East Centerton Boulevard and Womack Road.
Amenities Galore: Residents can expect a clubhouse, pool, pickleball courts, fire pits, gathering spaces, and retail areas built right into the apartment buildings.
