Hillberry Music Festival Returns to Eureka Springs
The 10th Annual Hillberry Music Festival kicks off at The Farm in Eureka Springs, happening Wednesday, Oct 8, through Sunday, Oct 12.
Five Days of Festival Fun: Hosted by Deadhead Productions, the five-day family-friendly festival features nationally-renowned bluegrass and funk artists alongside local talent. Headliners include Railroad Earth and Greensky Bluegrass performing across multiple stages.
Bluegrass Under A Blue Sky: Beyond music, the festival offers camping, workshops, kid activities, food and craft vendors, and art installations. The multi-day format creates an immersive experience for music lovers and families seeking an extended weekend getaway in the Ozarks.

New Jiu Jitsu Academy To Open In Springdale
Yosai Jiu Jitsu, a new Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy, officially opens in Springdale on Monday, Oct 13.
World’s Best in NWA: The academy is led by Ismael Santos, a two-time national champion, ranked as the fourth featherweight in the world by the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation. Santos brings elite-level experience and instruction to Northwest Arkansas.
Holistic Development: Yosai Jiu Jitsu offers training for adults and children of all skill levels, focusing on technique, self-defense, and fitness. The academy also emphasizes personal development, building character and discipline alongside physical training.

The Down Syndrome Connection of Northwest Arkansas kicks off its 6th Annual Step Up for Down Syndrome Online Auction today, raising funds to support inclusive, no-cost programs for individuals with Down syndrome across the region.
Stepping Up: The Down Syndrome Connection of Northwest Arkansas, which began as a group of parents in 2002, is a professional network of families, educators, therapists, and community leaders. 100% of funds raised go directly toward making programs and services free for families across Northwest Arkansas.
The Highest Bidder: With over 240 auction packages, the event features toys, sports gear, gift cards, family fun, date night deals, and more, making it a perfect way to jumpstart holiday shopping while giving back. Bidding runs from today at 9a through Saturday, Oct 11, at 8p.
