AQ Chicken Announces New Location in Downtown Springdale

A beloved local tradition is coming back home next spring, and it's bringing the chicken.

  • Cluck Yeah! AQ Chicken House is reopening at 100 W Emma Avenue in Downtown Springdale in Spring 2026, located next to Onyx Coffee Co. Known for its chicken over the coals, AQ has been a local favorite for nearly 80 years and is set to rejoin a revitalized food scene after years of closure.

  • New Nest: Originally planned for Elm Springs, the new site honors AQ’s deep ties to Downtown Springdale. As the area continues to grow, the move marks both a homecoming and a fresh start for the iconic restaurant.
