The Arkansas Apple Festival Returns To Lincoln This Weekend!

After a brief hiatus, the legendary Arkansas Apple Festival is back in action! Don’t miss the fun in Lincoln this weekend, Oct 4-6.

  • The History: The first Arkansas Apple Festival was hosted in 1976. Governor Bill Clinton attended the 1980 Apple Festival to crown the Apple Queen, Sandra Williams. In 1981 Governor Frank White proclaimed October to be "Arkansas Apple Month.” The COVID-19 pandemic and building safety concerns have made for a rocky past few years, but the Arkansas Apple Festival is back in full swing for 2024!

  • Apple Of My Eye: Shop unique merchandise from 100+ craft vendors on the Lincoln Square, savor an array of food vendors and food trucks, and watch the Apple Festival Parade on Saturday at 10a, followed by a Tractor Show on the Square.

Join the Downtown Springdale Alliance for the Luther George Park Revival Weekend, Oct 11–12. Experience two days of community activities, live performances, and family-friendly fun at the newly redesigned park.

  • Doing it Live: Enjoy music from local and national artists, including Latin jazz by Los Veleros, country tunes by Jenee Fleenor and The Wood Box Heroes, and a hip-hop showcase by NWA's finest talent.

Encounter Mysteries Of The Past On A Ghost Walk Through Downtown Rogers

The Rogers Historical Museum will offer Ghost Walk tours in historic Downtown Rogers featuring true local stories of murder, mystery, and mayhem told by costumed interpreters starting Oct 18.

  • Historic Hauntings: Ghost Walks are 45-min tours that start from the museum and wind through the Downtown area. Tours begin at 7p, with groups leaving every 15 minutes — the last tour starts at 8:15p. Ghost Walks are scheduled for Oct 18-19 and 24-26.

  • Stories That’ll Make You Scream: Walk among these “ghost” interpreters as they share witness accounts of dark tales of death taken from obituaries printed in local newspapers from the 1870s to 1920s. Tours are $5 per person, and each is limited to 16 participants
