13th Annual ArkanSalsa Fest Returns to Springdale
The 13th Annual ArkanSalsa Fest returns to Luther George Park in Springdale on Saturday, Oct 3, from 1-8:30p.
Salsa the Day: Expect a dance contest, food, drinks, a Best Tasting Salsa Contest, a market, the Mobile Art Lab from Crystal Bridges, and a career fair. There will also be an after-party from 5:30-8:30p with live music.
For A Good Cause: The fest supports local programs that help families with bilingual literacy, parent leadership, youth development, mental health education, and career exposure.

A New Donut Shop to Open in Bentonville
Bearberry Donut Co, a new donut shop, is set to open in Bentonville later this fall.
Donut Worry, Be Happy: The new shop will feature a menu of small-batch donuts made with natural ingredients.
Hole Lotta Fun: It will be located at the Lumen Luxury Lofts on 307 S Walton Blvd, and its social media page notes a November 2026 opening date.

Development
900-Lot Neighborhood Could Come to Bentonville
A roughly 900-lot residential community may be developed in Bentonville.
Home Run: Calara, the land development arm of Rausch Companies in Fayetteville, is under contract on the property located at the corner of Windmill and Morning Star roads.
Plotting Ahead: The deal is expected to close in 30-45 days. The residential community would be one of the company's largest single-site commitments, with an estimated residential investment expected to surpass $350M.

A Guide to SoNAβs 2026-27 Concert Season
The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) will kick off its 2026-2027 season at Walton Arts Center in Downtown Fayetteville this Saturday, Oct 3, at 7:30p.
SoNA Good: Saturday's concert, titled Rites of Renewal: The Firebird, will mark Akiko Fujimoto's first concert as SoNA's music director.
Symphony Season: SoNA will host five more concerts at Walton Arts Center throughout the season, including two holiday-themed performances in December.
