Bikes, Blues & BBQ Rides Into Rogers
The 25th Annual Bikes, Blues & BBQ Rally fires up its engine in Rogers this Wednesday, Oct 1, through Saturday, Oct 4.
Ride for Good: Around 400K people are expected to attend the largest charity motorcycle rally in the United States, which has raised over $3M for Northwest Arkansas nonprofits benefiting women, children, and underserved community members and driven an estimated $69-80M economic impact to the region.
Full-Throttle Fun: Activities include live music from bands like Funk Factory and the Tom Bryant Band, mapped rides, the Frisco Inferno BBQ Contest, bike games, and vendor markets, creating a festival that combines motorcycle culture with live entertainment and competitive barbecue.

TEDxFayetteville announced the speaker list for its event at Fayetteville Public Library this Saturday, Oct 4, returning for the first time since 2020.
Back & Better: This year’s theme, REmember, REturn, REvive, explores resiliency and community, reflecting on lessons learned since the 2020 pandemic. The event marks a significant return for the local TED franchise after a five-year absence.

Innovative Play Space To Open In XNA
Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport and Amazeum have partnered to create an innovative play space in the airport.
Roger, Roger: The $250K project transforms a former moving walkway into a play area for children and families to relax during their travels, bringing hands-on learning to travelers from around the world.
Cleared for Takeoff: The play area features an air traffic control tower for kids, early learning zones for toddlers, and engaging science-based experiences for all ages.

New Walmart Supercenter Planned for Centerton

NWA Daily
A Walmart Supercenter will be built in Centerton following a majority vote from the city’s planning commission.
Super Big News: The 179K square-foot location will sit on 33 acres of land, with plans for a gas station and nearly 800 parking spaces, as well as improvements to thru streets nearby to accommodate increased traffic.
Two Is Better Than One: The Supercenter will add a second Walmart to Centerton, providing job opportunities, enhancing infrastructure, and meeting shopping demands for one of Arkansas’s fastest-growing cities.
