Largest Community Park in Fayetteville Starts Renovations
Phase one of renovations for Walker Park in Fayetteville has officially kicked off, with big plans for the space.
Time for an Upgrade: The south end of Fayetteville’s largest community park is expected to be completely transformed by the summer of 2026. The project represents a major investment in the city's recreational infrastructure.
Sports Central: Expect new pickleball courts, sand volleyball, multipurpose sports fields, a horseshoe and yard game space, a new playground, walking trail, and much more.

Take a stroll through Downtown Springdale during another edition of the Art Walk, this Saturday, Sep 27, from 5:30-8:30p.

NWACC is helping the community develop artificial intelligence skills through public workshops, ranging from beginner to advanced coding levels.
For All Levels: The workshops cater to different experience levels, with the beginner class covering AI history, ethics, prompt optimization, and hands-on tasks such as writing emails and creating simple web pages. The advanced class is a great fit for full-stack developers.
NWA.I. Hub: NWACC is a go-to resource in Northwest Arkansas for AI skill development, having been selected for the National Applied Artificial Intelligence Consortium and expanding its program resources to support an associate degree in AI.
